National Average Home Prices – April 2015
The latest national home price averages show BC leading the way with $634,744, Ontario trailing considerably at $481,090, followed by Alberta at $397,811.
The Canadian real estate landscape saw an overall price gain of 9.5%, but this was very localized. In particular, BC, Ontario, and the Territories saw the greatest increases, with near double digit gains. On the other hand, Alberta, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland & Labrador all saw declines in price over the year.
